The Iris Book – The Photobook album… but not as you know it.

So we got our first Iris Book in the post a couple of weeks ago. It was a pretty exciting event. Let us tell you a little bit about it!

As soon as we unwrapped the album and got our hands on it we felt we’d just unveiled something very beautiful. It’s a sophisticated, flush-mounted album which combines elegance and modern design in a way that no other album we’ve come across does. With this album, it feels like Cypress have taken the concept of the photobook to a new level. It’s kind of like the difference you’d expect between a Renault and a Rolls Royce.

The fabric we chose was Light Plum which has a gorgeous, delicate lustre to it (making us wonder how the other 19 Japanese fabrics might look!) The pages are luxuriously thick and every time you turn a page you feel you’re holding something very special. Even the presentation box that we got with it is a little work of art in itself which shows off the album beautifully.
