Rebecca & Alan – Engagement

One of the last engagement shoots we did was of Rebecca and Alan.

The week before we were due to photograph them, we took off on one of our few free Sundays and did our homework.. homework for us being finding some ideal locations for the shoot. Seeing as Alan and Rebecca live in Wicklow, we confined our search to the Wicklow mountains. The seach took us everywhere from a lavender field to the foot of the Sugar Loaf. And on our travels we also came across a contender for the picture-perfect tree!

What made the shoot that bit special was the presense of a certain Diva (for those of you who don’t know, that’s Rebecca and Alan’s dog). Diva turned out to be a real live wire and her boundless energy meant lots of running about for us all / added a truckload of energy to the session. Rebecca and Alan see her as another member of their family and you could certainly see that as the three of them hopped, skipped and jumped through the meadows together!

Apart from Alan nearly getting eaten alive with midges (look closely at photo no.3 around Alan’s head!) the day was a great success and we are both very pleased with how their wedding guestbook is shaping up!
